Bicycle Collides with Sedan in Redwood City Resulting in Death

Tragedy struck on Monday in the Redwood City area when a cyclist lost their life in a horrific accident with a sedan on Cañada Road. With both the vehicle and the cyclist traveling northbound, the details of what caused the collision remain unknown. The victim, a 37-year-old man from South San Francisco, suffered severe injuries and tragically passed away at the scene. The California Highway Patrol responded to the incident at around 5 p.m. near Filoli Garden. Both were taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
