A Pedestrian And His Three Dogs Hit By Car in Downtown Los Angeles Resulting In Death

On Thursday morning, a man and his three dogs were killed in a hit-and-run crash in downtown Los Angeles. The driver fled the scene after hitting several other cars near the intersection of 5th Street and Hill Street. The victims were crossing the street just after 12:30 a.m. when they were struck by the driver. The man and all three dogs died at the scene. Neighbors say that this section of Downtown LA is dangerous when it comes to traffic accidents. Many of them wondered whether the unidentified victim was one of their neighbors, with dog ownership apparently common in that section of the city. The Los Angeles Police Department has arrested a suspect in connection with a hit-and-run accident that left one person dead. The incident occurred near 7th Street and Hill Street, when the suspect slammed into a car, killing the driver. The suspect then tried to get away from the scene on foot, but was apprehended by police a short distance away. He is currently being held on suspicion of driving under the influence.
