Pedestrian Accident Victim killed on I-80 in near Lagoon Valley Road

On Friday, 51-year-old Quandra McGadney lost her life in a hit-and-run crash while working as a Caltrans employee on Lagoon Valley Road. The incident occurred at 10:30 a.m. when, according to reports, a vehicle struck McGadney under unknown circumstances. CHP officers arrived at the scene to find theworker dead. The driver of the vehicle, identified as 31-year-old Taje Jakkar Holliman from San Francisco, fled the scene but was eventually located and arrested by police. Holliman has been charged with hit-and-run and vehicular manslaughter. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the crash to come forward.
