Sally Morin, California personal injury attorney, discusses making the best decision, and choosing the right personal injury attorney for you.
If you’re in an accident caused by a third party, you need someone to help you get back on your feet, and it’s time for you to hire a personal injury attorney. You want to make sure that attorney is right for you. Hiring an attorney can be a daunting task, because you probably never even had to think about personal injury attorneys except in some jokes you heard, or in a late night television ad – let alone having to find a personal injury attorney who’s right for you.
When you’re looking for a personal injury attorney, there are a handful of important factors that you should consider in order to make the right choice. The first factor is you should look at is that lawyer’s reputation and referrals ,to make sure that it’s the right lawyer for you. Secondly, you want that lawyer to be interested in you and your case. Third, you want to make sure that your goals for the case are in line with those of your attorney. The fourth part is that you want your lawyer to be honed in on a particular practice area that’s involved in your case. Finally, you want to be able to trust your personal injury lawyer.
All five of these factors are crucial, but some are easier than others to determine. The main point is that you want to do your research and be sure to pick a personal injury attorney who is right for YOU. Just because an attorney may sound great, or has great results, or has a huge law firm, does not necessarily mean that attorney is the right one for you.
I am going to lead you through these five factors in detail in five more videos following this one, so stay tuned and take a look at those. If you are interested in checking out more videos about California personal injury law with useful information, check out the video blog on my website.
