One Pedestrian Dead Another with Life-Threatening Injuries at 24th Avenue and Santiago Street

Incident Information

Police in San Francisco are investigating an accident that took place on Monday morning and left one female pedestrian dead and another with life-threatening injuries. The accident occurred at the intersection of 24th Avenue and Santiago Street, where two women were hit by a vehicle. Officers who arrived on the scene found that the women had been struck as well as several vehicles that were damaged in the accident. One woman was declared dead at the scene, while the other was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle, an adult male, stayed on the scene and cooperated with police. He was also taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators are still working to identify everyone involved in the accident and are asking for anyone with information to come forward.
