Women in Personal Injury Scholarship
The annual Sally Morin Personal Injury Lawyers Women in Personal Injury Scholarship provides a $1,500 award to a currently enrolled undergraduate college student or law school student who plans to complete law school and pursue a career as a personal injury lawyer.
The scholarship will be awarded to the student whose application best exemplifies a spirit and specific intention of a career as a personal injury attorney in service of injured persons. (Employees, relatives & spouses of Sally Morin Personal Injury Lawyers are not eligible.)
2020 Sally Morin Personal Injury Lawyers Women in Personal Injury Scholarship Application requirements:
1.) The application deadline is August 7, 2020. The scholarship recipient will be announced on this website on or before September 1, 2020.
2.) Eligibility: Women currently enrolled in an accredited U.S. 2 year college or 4 year university or a law school in the U.S. who plan to complete law school and pursue a career in personal injury law are eligible for consideration.
3.) Applicants must upload, and submit a link to, a 3-8 minute Youtube video on the subject of law and public service with the following title:
"__________ 2020 Sally Morin Personal Injury Lawyers Women in Personal Injury Scholarship Application"
(Substitute your name for "__________".)
5.) The video must not be professionally recorded, produced or edited.
6.) The Visibility setting for the video on YouTube must be set to "Public".
7.) The video description on YouTube must include a summary of the video contents, and the following text:
"2020 Sally Morin Personal Injury Lawyers Women in Personal Injury Scholarship: https://www.sallymorinlaw.com/"
8.) The applicant consents to the use of the applicants video, photo, name, city & state on the Sally Morin Personal Injury Lawyers website and for any other marketing purposes.
9.) The applicant must complete and submit the application form below on or before the application deadline:
10.) Submissions will be evaluated based on the video content without regard to the applicant’s race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion or national origin.
