Tragedy struck a family in Riverside County this week, as they mourn the loss of their beloved grandmother who was killed in a fatal collision on Monday. Pla Khang, 85, was hit by a cement truck while crossing the intersection of 6th street and Highland Springs Avenue. The family is now grappling with the reality that she will never come back, and her daughter Pang Yang admits that she misses her every morning. Khang was a remarkable 85-year-old who led an active lifestyle – she enjoyed taking daily walks and running errands by bus. The community knew her well, and her sudden loss has hit them hard.
